Position Overview:

Mercurial Massage LLC is seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team as an Independent Contractor.

We are a premium mobile wellness company dedicated to helping clients disconnect from the noise of everyday life, reset through therapeutic bodywork, and renew their overall well-being. We are seeking dependable, client-focused professionals who take pride in delivering exceptional massage therapy services and creating elevated client experiences.

Services are provided at client locations utilizing company equipment, operational systems, and transportation resources where applicable.

Responsibilities:

• Provide professional massage therapy services in accordance with South Carolina laws, regulations, and scope of practice.
  Customize each session based on client goals, preferences, health history, and comfort level.
  Review client intake information and address questions or concerns prior to each session.
  Maintain accurate and timely session documentation and SOAP notes.
  Follow company standards for client care, sanitation, safety, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  Communicate effectively with clients before, during, and after appointments.
  Maintain professional appearance, conduct, and service standards.
  Foster positive client relationships through consistent, high-quality care.

Requirements

Operational Requirements:

• Utilize company-provided technology, scheduling systems, equipment, linens, and supplies as required.
  Operate company-provided vehicles and equipment when assigned and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  Complete required onboarding and training.
  Follow established company standards, policies, procedures, and operational expectations related to client services and daily operations.

Qualifications Required:

• Active South Carolina Massage Therapy License in good standing.
  Professional liability insurance, or ability to obtain coverage prior to beginning services.
  Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  Ability to reliably travel to and from the company's designated vehicle pickup and drop-off location.
  Strong communication, professionalism, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  Ability to work independently while maintaining client confidentiality, professional boundaries, and sound judgment.

Preferred:

• Experience providing customized therapeutic massage services.
  Experience working in mobile massage, spa, wellness, or private practice environments.
  Strong understanding of client-centered care.
  Experience with hot stone therapy and/or cupping techniques.
  Comfort using scheduling software, mobile technology, and digital client documentation.
  Additional Requirements:

Final candidates may be required to complete:

Criminal background check.
Motor vehicle record review.
